AFL Round 8 Friday Night Forecast: West Coast v Western Bulldogs

This is a mouth-watering battle of the wests, in the west. But will it be the “Wild West”? We’re expecting all sorts of firecrackers in this match. Remember the 2016 Elimination Final? We all thought West Coast would slaughter the Western Bulldogs, but it was the reverse: Western Bulldogs thrashed West Coast by 47 points, the first finals installment that resulted in a Grand Final victory for them four weeks later. Revenge can be sweet, but it can also consume. Will West Coast focus on reclaiming a match they should have won last year, and let the Bulldogs win the mind games (and the match?). Western Bulldogs share the red, white and blue colours of so many international flags – Russia, France, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Australia – just to name several. Their colours will drag them over the line. Expect a great match, and the Western Bulldogs to click into gear and claim the four points.

  • Eddy Jay – Western Bulldogs, 28 points.
  • Lintang Enam – West Coast, 19 points.
